A: Common inks are divided into water-based, solvent, and oily. Water-based inks are suitable for thicker stencils (100-200 mesh). Solvent ink for medium mesh screens (200-300 mesh). Oily ink for high mesh screens (300-400mesh). The ink should be poured on the top or both sides of the pattern when printing. Please do not pour the ink directly on the printing patterns.
Q: How to choose the stencils with a different mesh count?
A: According to the substrates, such as rough absorbent substrates require more ink, so you need to choose a thicker stencil; smooth non-absorbent substrates require relatively less ink, so you need to select a higher mesh screen.
Q: What size frames should I buy?
A: Choose and buy according to the pattern size that needs to be printed. Add 3.9 in to the length and width of the pattern. The data obtained will be the maximum inner space size of the required screen frame.
