Good for the price, very comprehensive
Wanted a good set, but also one that included an M11x1 which is an odd sizing but was something I needed to use straight away. Taps are better than average but not presto sharp which is to be expected. Dies are not great but work (mainly smaller sizing has machining burrs swarf left behind and inconsistencies) they clean up but it's not what you expect . The set came particularly handy this week when my vevor slip roller arrived and was terrible quality. I had to use the set to chase 2 or the 3 adjusting screws and retap one casting. Slip roller I would avoid.

I Ordered the 110-piece tap and die set. The set is well equipped en most metric sizes are there. Came in a sturdy case. The downside is that most taps dies are poorly finished. Don't expect Dormer quality. Use only for repair of threading, don't use the set for cutting fresh thread. They will break as the material is too brittle. For me this was not acceptable. When I contacted Vevor about the quality they resolved the issue within a week. So the five star rating is for the customer service.

Nice small travel kits, more than good enough to clean/ recut a thread. Haven't used it to cut a thread from scratch (single finishing taps only), they feel good enough though

I have yet to use the taps and dies but on receipt and checking them out- The good: A very comprehensive set which will cover all my metric thread needs. Case to hold all the items in. The Not so good: The dies had a lot of swarf left in them - will sadly really need a decent clean and flush before use. The Tap&Die holder handle threads are not a quality tight smooth fit, rather loose, could be better. Some items are a very tight fit (too tight) a fit in the case, good to not have things loose, but not so good when they are difficult to extract. Not sure what the "The storage case comes with pearl cotton cushioning, providing excellent shock absorption and cushioning properties" specification is about, I found no such material in the case holder slots, just plain plastic.

Surprisingly great value, good quality item
I work on cars a lot as a hobby and a necessity, and I bought this set initially to re-shape the threads on an irreplaceable stud which got mangled during removal. I now open it up almost every time I pull bolts off a car - it's extremely useful to have, if only to compare and measure bolts and nuts for ordering replacements.The plastic case is strong (and red, not black as shown here...) and grips all the taps and dies tight even as you lift the lid up and over, which was a relief. All the tools seem to be of good quality metal. Although there are some shallow or misplaced markings on the pieces and some general inconsistencies, this is still a really good quality set for the money which really surprised me. Nothing in here feels flimsy or liable to break, so I'll happily accept some trivial imperfections so long as it all keeps working for me.I may update this review later as I use it more, but for now I'm impressed with it. My favourite new toy.
