Although very strong and will support going up and down steps was disappointed that the fittings for the rail to the uprights do not tighten properly and as a consequence rail is wobbly. Also although powder sprayed several areas had nicks in the cast iron which already show signs of rust

All fixings supplied although drill bit was not up to complete installation so have a spare handyThe only issue was that the handrail was loose fit to the vertical supports so a packing washer was used to get fixings completely tight. Rail looks good and finish is ok

Gives us confidence going down the steps, was difficult to fit as the fittings didn't hold it firm, fitter had to buy extra long screws in order to make it stand firm. But glad we had it fitted, worth the cost.

An excellent quality handrail, and I was able to get advice from the company on the best options for drilling into concrete slabs, and it all worked well. Kit came with a drill bit , but not for a standard drill so I had to buy a decent one myself. Great quality, apart from the covers to go over the base ( to hide the bolts) They were a bit flimzy, and easly bent. They're ok, but when the rail looks so great , the joints on the base are a bit obvious and draw the eye.

Good solid quality and very good value. Easy to fit. The supplied drill bit didn't fit my SDS drill but I had one to hand that did the job.

Excellent product and service. Only concern was the quality of the drill head that was not up to drilling through slabs and i had to buy a more effective one.

Arrived well packaged, extra bolts over, supplied with a drill bit which was not a cheap one. Highly recommend this product. Ideal for us to get down from the patio on to the grass, very sturdy.

Octogenarian parents lost confidence going out if patio doors down 2 steps. Social services taking forever, so I bought pair of rails. Easy to fit within an hour. My parents are now no longer trapped in their own home to go into their garden; alternative route is becoming scary: 4 steep steps within 2 feet of brick wall. My mother has previously fallen against said wall. Needless to say, they are so happy now: money we’ll spent - thank you
