I bought this because it said Sold Secure Gold, which means that it has some kind of standard of security behind it. The chain itself is heavy and sturdy and feels the part, as does the padlock. The cloth protection helps you avoid damaging paintwork too.Of course the only real test is how well it protects the bike and to be honest i hope I am never sitting here saying it worked or didn't work!Security is really budget dependent, generally the more you spend the better it is, this chain is really good value combining the Sold Secure Gold mark with an excellent price.

Strong locks

I wouldn't call this heavy duty, its very light and quite flimsy if I'm being totally honest. It's good enough to secure the kids scooters in the garden and I have CCTV so together should be fine. The links are quite small too so the padlock provided is fine but you couldn't use one with a thicker connection

Hopefully I'll not find out how sturdy this is. It is good value. I have a Kryptonite New York chain and it is definitely thicker and heavier but it is around 3 times the price. So for the money I think this is a great back up and I use them together.

Keeps my mind at peace with my bike locked up outside.

Decent fabric cover to this chain stops any damage to paint or alloys. Good length means it comfortably keeps two bike frames or wheels secure. Three keys also a bonus. No security lock is perfect but this seems pretty good.

Its ok for the thickness

pleasantly surprised on how good this chain actually is... works well and the cover makes it waterproof and double secure, and an actual decent padlock on a chain for once...

Good chain to keep my scooter safe. Comes with several spare keys, sturdy lock and very decent lenght. Would recommend.
