This is the best item I have bought in a long time. Whilst it is definitely an asset to take on your travels, it is bigger and heavier than I expected. That said it is extremely well made, sturdier than many that are made for permanent fitting. It would fit in a larger suitcase - not a airplane cabin size case. It is easily assembled, secured with metal pins to itself and fitted to a bed without harm to the bed, ideal for taking on holiday to attach to hotel bed. It is strong enough to help the user out of bed and give stability when standing up. The attached bag is very useful for putting your bits and bobs in whilstt in bed. When out of use it can be folded in on itself creating a very shallow profile and it will fit in a car boot or top box, or stood on end in a cupboard. It is perfect for taking on holiday but just be aware of the size and weight of the item. This is item really is a great asset to a traveller who needs a little help to get out of bed and will certainly be coming with me on my holidays.
