This unit cools well, and uses less power than indicated by the 60 watt figure specified - It comes closer to 45 watts / 3.5A current when the compressor is running. The remote on/off feature means that it still draws some power (0.6W / 0.05A current) even when turned off by the control on the front panel, but overall the power consumption is better than the old coolbox (63W / 5A) running. Overall the design with two strong handles, one each end is convenient for storing it on the floor of my VW type 2 camper van - this size of fridge is slightly too wide to fit between the front seats, instead being kept further back in the vehicle.

Brilliant little fridge. Bought for van as I work away all week. Does exactly as advertised and runs on 12v and 240v very happy how little power it draws when running on 12v and hardly notice any drop in my leisure batteries. Very impressed how little noice it makes and that noise is only now and then when it needs to re cool after lids been opened the rest of time its silent. Decent size easily fits all I need for the week.

Bought this for my truck and it_ brilliant. Got it hooked to my 24v socket and it gets cold quick. Very quiet and I think it cut in only twice during the night! I think. Generous 35l capacity, led light and shallow cup holders to boot. Very easy to set up although the instructions encompass ALL models but still it_ a piece of cake. You won_ find a better travel fridge for the price. Any questions welcome. Cheers

Haven_ had chance to use it yet ,it works down to 34f in the house I think it will be fine if managed properly

Further to the other reviews, I am generally very pleased with this box. Its fairly quiet and efficient. The only negative point I might make is that the ice cube compartment never completely freezes the water in the cube tray provided, even though the main compartment is freezing some things at the bottom while the unit is set to 0 degrees C.

Can_ fault it just driven to spain with it connected to a leisure battery it ran for 26 hours whilst I was on the ferry still kept everything at 1c bones is you can download the Alpicool app and control it from your phone
