For the cost of it, this is very nicely made. I can highly recommend this winch arm to anyone.

I believe that the one I have received, had been returned by a previous customer as some of the packaging was opened. However, country to what the other comments have said, it does fit together perfectly! The issue I believe people are having is that you have to move the shackle part (not sure what it is called) the part that attaches to the main bar, you have to move it down a little so that the support arm (the thin piece of metal) fits the main bar (not sure what you call each part but see picture). Just assemble it exactly as the picture shows and you will find that all parts fit together perfectly. It is a great item! Hope the seller replenishes their stock as it a good item and very useful. Sturdily made swing arm bought to help me, when fitted with a 500W electric hoist, lift and move a 250lb woodturning lathe. Assembling the arm was quite straightforward with only the diagonal brace support a little fiddly to align.

Straightforward assembly and robust construction does just what I want. My Tooltec electric winch fitted ok
