I was looking for a wort chiller and came across this product. I ordered on a whim not really knowing what exactly I needed. The dimensions were smaller than I had wanted so I wasn't sure if the properties would be sufficient to cool boiling wort to the desired temp. The description was slightly incorrect (number of plates) so again I wasn't quite sure what to expect.On arrival the packaging looks a little rough around the edges and it took it's time but the product itself looks the part. The ports are perfect being male 1/2" and 3/4" NPT which are ideal for brewing and garden hose connections respectively.As for performance I was amazed to see boiling liquid being cooled to a mere 25 Deg C in an instant. Maybe a bigger size or the addition of more plates might see the liquid cooled slightly more but for my needs I couldn't ask for more.
