Excellent value bit of kit, transformed my old JCB 801. Should be easy enough to modify it to take a hydraulic cylinder in the future.

Very cheap, I couldn't have bought the materials to make it myself for this cost.
Reasonable quality, sure there's no big thick bosses or grease channels, but it's made of thick enough steel that I expect to get a good few hours of use out of it before I expect to see too much wear.
Worked straight out of the box, I welded the back plate on and all the holes lined up fine, no fettling as is often needed with cheap products.
Powder coating actually seems to be pretty good, usually I find it flakes off easily, but this stuff is well bonded

If they had just added one more set of holes, then it would be possible to fold the jaws back up out of the way and pin them there. (Brace would still need to be removed and stored, but I find this fits under my seat, so not a big deal). Right now I just tied it in place, I'll plasma cut some extra holes in in the future. But this would have been easier to do on the bench, before welding the back plate to my machine. If you buy, I'd recommend taking some time to work out how you're going to store it when not in use and make all your mods before welding onto your machine.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this product, for the money, you can't really go wrong.
