This is an ideal ultrasonic for the hobbyist due to its price it's not as powerful as a professional unit it just takes longer to work. THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY THE MACHINE MUST BE EARTHED. THE LEAD SUPPLIED FOR THE UK HAS AN ADAPTOR THAT GIVES NO EARTH CONNECTION .This is a safety issue as the machine is all metal and filled with liquid. Get an adaptor that connects all three pins or cut off the plug supplied and put on a UK one with a 5 amp fuse. The other option is to find a lead with the appropriate plug on it.

No visible damage but yet to try item, one issue it shipped with a 2 pin plug and the adapter was both inadequate and damaged with all 3 pins either broken/missing would suggest buying a uk plugged kettle lead when ordering.

Bought this following seeing the results from my son's when using it to clean radio controlled aeroplane engines and must say I am very impressed when used in conjunction with an appropriate cleaning fluid.

The parcel arrived within couple of weeks from Belgium.The bath itself is bit smaller than I expected but apart from that it's working OK.It's really laud so make sure it's set up somewhere in the garage rather than home as you would not stand the noise that the bath generates.Thank you.

overall brilliant, I brought this to clean my bike components from chains to cassettes etc and does it perfectly, i put 1 cap of degreaser to 2ltrs or hot water and it melts grease and grime off. I_e read reviews where people have said that their heater broke so I just put hot tap water in mine and don_ use the heater and when it_ cleaning it causes the water to remain heated anyway. When researching ultrasonic cleaners there would be videos of the grease coming off the components as soon as they start it and I was very sceptical and thought it was sped up, but my personal experience is it_ true as soon as you press start you see it straight away the grease coming off. If you purchase a 3ltr it only holds 2ltrs of liquid

The designation 2L dose not mean 2 litres .That was a bit misleading but the little cleaner is excellent. I use it to clean chainsaw carbs it does an excellent job.
