It’s about what I would expect for a cheap and small tabletop pottery wheel. It is quite noisy though, and the motor cannot handle much pressure when forming my pottery. The plastic dripping tray is poorly designed, it leaks. It’s nice that it comes with basic pottery tools. It is not heavy. I think it’s worth the price for a beginner looking to play around at home.

Nice machine for an excellent price. This machine is good for starters and kids we are using it for beginner course.

For this price I am not too sure what to expect. As title says, great for learning pottery. The maximum weight of clay it is able to do at once would only be possible if you solidify the machine in concrete, otherwise the 4 legged stance just bounces away from you. Overall its a fine device for the price, it’s decently stable and powerful. Now for the obvious flaws of the product are two main things: the splash tray and the electrical component/touch screen control. I bought two of these and encountered the same issue in both. The splash tray is very small, especially the rounded part close to the potter. It would be fine if you throw one cup, but as soon as you work more and have more clay and water piling up, the connection between the trays starts to leak. Normally that would be fine, apart from the mess it creates. But thats where point two comes in. The electrical component and/or touch screen is hard to control with clay fingered hands, but that is solvable. The real issue being the leaking water/slib from the connection of the two-part plastic tray. This seeps down the side of the machine, on and behind the touch screen. Which often results in the machine shorting and coming to a halt amidst throwing. I have also found water leaking from under the tray on top of the machine, dripping down inside on to the motors flywheel. Creating a clay centrifuge on the inside, making the inside of the touchscreen’s electrical board wet. On both the machines I own this happened on multiple occasion. After a full clean and popping out the screen, then letting dry and brushing with a toothbrush I get it to work again. It seems this could be easily solved by making sure the top is leakproof, or just in case asding a casing to the inside of the electrics. Overall for the price of the product I would recommend this to a beginner hobbyist potter. The tools included are of low quality but fine to hobby around with. The apron included is a kids size plastic apron, basically useless. I do hope my feedback about both the rounded tray size and distance from the wheel is picked up by VEVOR as well as covering the inner side of the electrical touch screen.

Small an essential item, Useful in every field!

The wheel works well but kinda low. I'm 5'9" and my wife is 5'6" and we both found it too low sitting at a height of 10 inches off the floor to be at the right height with the wheel. If I was to purchase again I would buy the one with the separate foot pedal. I had to raise this up about 6 inches to work at a comfortable height sitting on a 5 gallon bucket making it very awkward to be able to use the foot pedal elevated off the floor. The lever works fine but sometimes the foot pedal is helpful when trimming. It doesn't look like there is an easy way to convert to a separate foot pedal. This may not be an issue for you and it is a great wheel for the money.

Works well is just a bit messy as it is so small and no place for warer and spatters to go. Does as it states. And is of good quality.

I like this little wheel. The motor is strong enough and it's very easy to operate. It's a bit awkward to move, as three edges are just the edge of the sheet metal body and a bit sharp. It's also pretty short, so you'll want a couple of cinder blocks to set it up on if you want to throw seated on a stool or chair. It's a smaller wheel, so you probably won't be able to throw more than ~3 pounds at a time, but that suits me. It also doesn't accept bats. If you want to make/use bats, you'll either have to drill holes and use pins, or maybe try using velcro. It's been nice to have for me to practice the skills I'm learning in class, and to test out different techniques, even left-handed ones.
