The band saw performs well. It cuts cleanly and without breakout or fraying. I had considerable doubts about purchasing this machine, but that was unnecessary. The tests I conducted were all more than satisfactory. I paid attention to a neat cutting edge, and the size was cut at a right angle. The machine is well built and finished. One downside was that the paint made it difficult to adjust the saw table at a right angle. I solved this by removing the paint. In summary, it's a machine that I can definitely recommend, especially for the hobbyist. With proper use, this machine will last for years. Good price/quality.
