I thought this was a bit cheap, so I thought it may not be all that good. I thought it may be a lightweight flimsy thing and I thought it might just last a short time. The thing is, I obviously think too much. It turns out his is a great product for the money, especially for occasional use as a home-welder (as I am). Very impressed with quality and substance, especially for the cost. If you're a pro, you may need more, I suppose. But for me, doing occasional welding in a workshop holding various motorcycling exotica that cry out for protection against hot stuff, this is great for them and excellent peace of mind for me. Well chuffed.

Excellent fire safety
I used this blanket in front of my pizza oven, as I’ve got artificial grass! Although not it’s specifically designed use, it’s an excellent blanket for stopping my grass being affected by excess heat. Thermally, works really well.

Space blanket
I call it my space blanket because it is great safety blanket for partitioning my welding space. There are plenty of grommets for hanging. The material is thick and durable. The bright orange color seemed odd at first but is actually very useful. The blanket reflects lots of light and makes the work area brighter. This features comes in handy if you need to find something you dropped.
