Bought 2 of these to go at end of Patio canopy so did not use the end post. Easy to attach to wall with 2 brackets but do need to check they are precisely in line with packers as brickwork not perfectly flat. Easy to pull out and I attach them to the canopy post, so not sure how easy to use with the post provided

Nice product. Not good in wind. Needs a base mount to remove or move around. I adspted my own slide mount so it's removable and can be relocated as needed.
