Another fine press
Sturdy , very effective press. I use it in bookbinding, to press stacks of signatures, sewn text blocks, pasted covers, etc. It does the job excellently. Construction is sturdy and rigid, material finishing is just adequate, but OK. The grey coating is damaged in some places, probably before the coating had fully cured. This is no problem, since I always place text blocks and covers between several sheets of blotting paper or flat, polished plywood boards The press opens and closes with no effort; with little more than half a turn of the spindle after 'touch down', the text block is pressed very firmly and evenly.

Heavy press, that does not function as expected. The order arrived with scratches on the baseplate. Press opens and closes with some difficulty. The baseplate seems very solid and sturdy, but is in fact almost elastic, making it difficult to get a straight and even pressing. When fastening the press, it bends out of shape. And I'm definitely not THAT strong. Would not recommend.
