Was skeptical ordering posts that screw in from the top. Replaced their bolts with 4” structural powerless screws. Those made it seems very strong, only time will tell. Overall I am happy with the railing. The cable runs through the corner posts, meaning it makes a solid run through the corner making a 90 degree turn. I bought rubber grommets off Amazon for all the holes in the posts. Because it make that 90 turn the grommets are in those holes awkwardly. I also used 5” structural screws on the corner posts because the pulling on the corners were making it unlevel. But extra tensioners all well. Once you crimp the wire you will have to throw it out once you mess up until you get the hang of it. You will also need an angled washer that you can buy on Amazon. Otherwise your tensioner will be sticking out of the end of the stair posts.
